Most children are fortunately born healthy. You can contribute to this by giving your child a good start with a healthy lifestyle.
In about 4% of pregnancies, there is a congenital abnormality or hereditary condition. You cannot do anything about this yourself. Every pregnant woman can choose to investigate the health of her child. There are various prenatal tests available, including the NIPT, the first trimester screening (13-week ultrasound), and the second trimester screening (20-week ultrasound). During the first check-up, we can provide you with extra information about the NIPT test, the 13-week ultrasound, and the 20-week ultrasound, if desired. Choosing a test can be difficult. You may have to make difficult decisions about further testing after an unfavorable result and whether or not to terminate a pregnancy. We are here to help you with this.
The office can be reached 24 hours a day on telephone number: 074-2421910. For delivery and other urgent matters, calls can be made at any time. For questions or to make an appointment, our assistants are available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and Friday 12:00 PM. So for non-urgent matters it is most appreciated to call within these times. If we cannot be reached, we can always be called through the hospital in case of emergencies, telephone number: 088-708 78 78. We do consultations on alternating days and have an evening consultation every week in Delden, Boekelo, Beckum, Bentelo and Deurningen.
