To become pregnant, it can be helpful to know when you are ovulating. Ovulation is also known as the release of an egg. If you have been keeping track of your menstrual cycle for a few months, you can calculate when you will ovulate. Typically, ovulation occurs 14 days before your next period starts. The 6 days leading up to ovulation are when you are most fertile, and most pregnancies occur during this time. Sperm can survive in the uterus for a few days, so it is sufficient to have sex every 2-3 days during this period.
You can use the calculator on our website and enter the first day of your last period. The calculator will provide all the important dates for a pregnancy, including the estimated ovulation date.
There are also various apps available to help you track changes in your body during your fertile period and keep track of when your period and ovulation will occur. Ovulation tests are also available to help you determine when you are ovulating.
