Ultrasounds that you have performed at your own request are not reimbursed by the health insurer because the purpose of the ultrasound is not medically diagnostic.

All clients are deemed to have read these general terms and conditions, which can be found on the website of Dora Obstetricians Office. An ultrasound for fun aims to show beautiful and fun images of your unborn child and is in no way medical-diagnostic. There is no no focus at finding abnormalities during fun-ultrasounds.
If the ultrasound technician suspects that the ultrasound image is divergent, the ultrasound technician reserves the right to inform the obestetrician and client. If you do not appreciate this, you must make this known before the start of the ultrasound.
In case a deviation is overlooked, Dora Obstetricians Office or the ultrasound technician is in no way liable.
Upward of 14 weeks it is possible to have a sex determination performed. If the location and / or development of the baby does not make the sex determination reliable, the client may return free of charge. With eventual gender determination, 100% certainty can never be given. Dora Obstetricians Office or the ultrasound technician do not accept any liability for any erroneous assessment of the sex or the resulting costs incurred.
We do not guarantee a gender determination, it is a pre-ultrasound at your own risk. Our pre-echoes are performed with high-quality equipment and with great care and professionalism by a qualified ultrasound technician.
Despite the above, the quality of the imaging depends on the location and mobility of the child, the location of the placenta, the umbilical cord, the amount of amniotic fluid and the physique of the mother. Dora Obstetricians Office cannot guarantee the quality of the visual material. Refunds will not take place. Despite many years of research and practise, there are no known harmful effects associated with the use of ultrasound equipment. Dora Obstetricians Office takes no responsibility for any effects of this in the short or long term. The prices on the website includes 21% VAT. Payment can be made by debit card or in cash.
